Columbus Dispatch, April 15th staff editorial - most-districts-understood-rules

This next story only indirectly ties to the data scrubbing.  What is does tie into is The Big Lie. Columbus City Schools gave you the Big Lie on this question. They are chronic abusers of the retire / rehire cycle for administrators. But, frequently the administrator is NOT rehired into the exact same job they held - another job is posted / created for them, as long as they were a "Friend of Gene". When I did analytical reports for CCS, there is a coded category in the HR data base that gives you the hire status of the employee. Believe me, there is more than 1 CCS retire / rehire. I imagine the lawyers got involved and decided how to cherry-pick the question. Ask CCS directly - "How many current CCS employees have retired, and then been rehired into ANY CCS job, except Substitute Teacher". Watch the numbers go way up!
